To the best of my knowledge, The Archive uses no Active X technology. Actice X is a Microsoft "feature" widely known as a gateway for viruses, trojans, and spyware to infect PC's. Users would be much better off using Firefox or Opera Web browsers. Because of Active X (and other Microsoft "features", everyone using Windows should also install and keep up to date a spyware removal tool or two like "Spybot Search and Destroy" and "Ad Aware" as well as a good anti virus.
